🌿 Our Story — Moss & Maple Play Café

Nestled in the heart of the community, Moss & Maple Play Café was born from a love of childhood wonder, connection, and slow, joyful moments. Inspired by the magic of the woodland — where moss grows soft under tiny feet and maple leaves flutter like nature’s confetti — our name reflects everything we stand for: warmth, playfulness, and natural growth.

As busy mums ourselves, we — Sian and Daisy — dreamed of a space where our children could play freely and safely, while we could enjoy a warm drink (while it’s still hot!) and connect with other families. We know how hectic life can be, and we wanted to create a haven — a cosy corner of the world where little imaginations can run wild and grown-ups feel welcome too.

Moss symbolises a place that’s gentle, safe, and calming — like the cosy corners of childhood. Maple reminds us of strength, colour, and the beauty of change — a nod to the seasons of parenting and the magic of watching children grow.

At Moss & Maple, play is at the heart of everything we do. Whether it's a make-believe kitchen, a post office adventure, or simply sharing a snack with a friend, our role-play world encourages imagination, creativity, and connection — for little ones and big ones alike.
